Boiler On Off On Off

Hi

I have a problem with my Ravenheat Whitestar.

When the hot tap is opened, the boiler starts ok, then the pilot light goes after a minute, then it comes back on, then goes again. Occasionally it will stay on for a while.

Sometimes, especially with the central heating, the boiler will not come on at all.

Is this a problem with the electrics do you think, and any ideas as to how much this might cost to fix?

This is an unusual fault for ravenheats usually they just go off off off off.

On the HW side it's usually a blocked secondary heat exchanger - do a search on that one,
CH - is it because it's waiting to cool down, or because it's been on in the last few minutes? I think there's a delay of about 4 mins.
