can anyone suggest anything?

i have a Potterton Kingfisher MF cf80 which seems to have started popping and a little bit of banging as if the boiler is kettling (boiling). i have turned down the boiler temp but it still does it.

what could it be?

Why dont you think the obvious is not the cause?

Whats the condition of the system water?

Tony

bet you it is very wet and quite clear.
with very large cold spots in the rads

the obscure thing is, that every rad is lovely and hot with no cold spots.

as it is a vented system i'm thinking it can't be air?
