About approximately a month ago I had a baxi 636 installed. This replaced my trusty ariston microgenus lol.
Anyhow, I noticed with this boiler the pressure keeps dropping approx 1/4 bar per week.
Initially I thought the boiler is just settling down, air etc, but after the second week I thought this isn't right.
Called the plumber back who basically without hesitation said there's nothing wrong with the boiler, it's new, you have a leak in your pipework somewhere. Even tho, I stated to him that had I have had a leak in the pipework all this time, it would have been prior to this boiler and I would have known about it.
So I decided myself to isolate the boilers CH Flow and return and watched the pressure over a couple of days and sure enough the pressure needle was slowly moving down.
So my Q is, am I right in thinking the issue is with the boiler? Can't see any leaks any were and I also put a balloon on the end of the blow off pipe outside which is still empty.
Any advice what to do?
I' have a feeling when I call baxi for a warranty claim, they'll just say the same thing as the installer.
Some advice would be really helpful or if there is anything else I could check?
Thx
