Hi

I am currently phoning plumbers to try and find one that will come out but this week but thought I would post here to see if I'm just missing something.

I apologise if this is a topic that has come up before. I'm sure it has. I have no heating and no hot water. the boiler is a Gas boiler (not combi) but I've stupidly come to work without writing down the make or model.

the symptoms are that the pilot is on but when I turn the central heating or hot water on there is no heating and no woomph.

Do you think this is a problem with the thermostats or timer controller?
there is power to them but are they prone to fail? the setup looks quite old.

thanks for any help you can give me,

Sam

Its impossible for us to suggest anything as any part of your system could have failed.

Little point of me listing all the parts which could have failed.

A competent person would test the progress of the supply through the circuits and discover where the fault is.

Any properly boiler repair engineer will be organised to come out within 24 hrs.

Tony
