im having trouble with my boiler potterton suprima there is thick blue fluid coming from one of the pipes at top of boiler.it is only 7 months old what can the problem be and can i still use it.

It sounds as if there is a very slight leak and the water is drying and leaving a residue.
That implies that the water in the system has not been properly treated.
The obvious thing is to call back the installer to fix the leak.
You should also question what water treatment was done as it may not have been correct. Look on the Benchmark Certificate that the installer completed (?).
In the meantime you should be able to use it but if its a sealed system then keep checking the pressure is adequate.

in what way is this causing a problem and if anything what damage is being caused 
yes i called plumber he has fixed problem leak in pipework thanks to all for advice
the water treatment was fernox that was used
