Boiler has decided to pack up over the weekend, its a GlowWorm 30cxi.

Have tried simply switching on and off but that does nothing.

Have then tried opening the blue valve underneath to fill the system and build some pressure (currently 0.4 bar) but thats doing nothing also.

Anyone any ideas on what to try next?

How do I fill it though. I thought that was what the blue valve was supposed to do?

It is, mind saying that I have encountered a few of these with dodgy filling kits..

The valve was stuck closed. Released it and refitted it and now the boiler fires up properly when switched on but after about 1 minute I get a F1 fault on the digital read out?

F1 is ignition fault and not related to your pressure problem. Although you don't say what the pressure is now after fiddling with the valve. Has the gas been turned off at all?
