Hi,
Could someone give me some advice about boilers please?

I have recently moved into a flat and it has a boiler for the central heating.
I've only started using it since the weather has got colder.

This might seem like a stupid question but I don't know anything about boilers.
Is it ok to leave the boiler on through the week when I'm in the flat and then switch it off at the weekend when I'm not there?or should I leave it on all the time?

I've got it set on automatic.

Thanks

No problem with switching it off if it has frost protection, what boiler do you have ?

You can use it any way you like, just remember that the frost thermostat won't protect the hot and cold water pipes in the flat. If your not in on the weekends you could turn it down just to keep a little heat in the place.
