I have a ariston microsystem combi boiler. The boiler is in full working order.
I have noticed a noise coming from the boiler that sounds like a bit of metal plate rattling. It is not very loud, but want to check it out.
It happens just after the boiler stops burning gas. So for instance as we don't have heating on at the moment, when we turn on the hot water tap the boiler fires up and when we close the tap the boiler stops firing. Then as it stops there is a faint swirl noise of metal clattering. Could this be from the fan inside the unit?
Any ideas anyone? and what can I do to fix it?
