Hi just had a glowworm boiler sx18 - pressurised system installed
and the boiler has a pressure relief/overflow pipe which goes out the wall and then bends down

there must be a better way to have this on the outside wall - like a circular disk that will fit flush on the wall and then move out if needed

it just looks a mess with a pipe sticking out the wall

anyone have any ideas, I'm sure some mentioned this was possible

thanks in advance

It has to be open to let pressure out in case of a fault.

I dont see why you should have any problem with the correct way to install them.

It just looks a mess - with a pipe out the wall - this is the side of a very small house , and bit of copper at head height from the wall look messy - and i dont want it down the inside wall and out

so nothing can make this better in appearance

I'm afraid they are all like this, it also has to be visible, so you know there's a problem if it leaks.

Wow - excellent just the job - exactly what I was describing to the plumber must exist - made a lot of sense to me

brilliant - just emailed the plumber

now all I need to do is find a supplier locally - found a site http://www.pipecowl.com/index.php/the-pipe-cowl here and they are on ebay - but if i can get it tomorrow - he was free on wednesday .....

in the Leatherhead area (epsom) if any one know of a plumbing supplier that may have in stock

thanks again - have a very happy wife now tonight

plumbase @ purley way sell them so all plumbases should.
little pricey if i remember rightly around £5
thanks
Lee

excellent plumbase in epsom show on the web @ £16.68
plumbcentre in leatherhead £7.07 - i checked for stock and they have 1 in leatherhead for 1/8 - so i guess thats an order for next day

a bit annoying now - as I called plumbcentre in leatherhead today and described what a wanted - copper pressure relief i said like a coin that would blow out - and they said no - nothing made and the normal way is a pipe bent 90degrees

so will call tomorrow with part number

thanks for all your help

ordered from plumb centre @ 7.07 and had it fitted this morning - what a difference looks excellent - just a tiny disk on the wall now - instead of a pipe

so please - thanks to you all
