boiler shut down

help i have a 3 year old vaillant turbomaxplus boiler,now and again a fault wiil occur, it will display on the boiler f24 (dry fire protection),if i switch boiler off at the mains and back on again the fault will go and boiler will work fine again for maybe 2/3weeks,when this happens i lose both hot water and central heating,no probs with pressure any suggestions
