(please disregard any other enquiries I have made regarding Central Heating and/or boilers, this is a different system)
I have a Halstead Finest Gold combination boiler installed on the ground floor of a normal house. I noticed today that the pressure gauge was showing zero. I looked through the booklets i.e. User/ Installation/ Servicing and tried to refill the water system. No different.
The heating operates and the unit supplies hot water, but, the upper radiators are very hot, and the lower floor has a couple not warming up at all.
There are no puddles around the boiler, and the water from the cold tap seems to be at the normal pressure.
This pressure the gauge refers to, surely that is the pressure in the system created by the pump?
I think I will leave it there for now, and for a while get back to the books.
