I think i may have problems with my boiler. It has started to become noisy. When the hot water is turned on, the heating gets hot gets hot aswell as the water and when the heating is turned on the hot water gets hot aswell as the heating getting hot. Should this be happening? I thought if you turned the water on, ONLY the water gets hot. STRANGE!!!! Can anyone help

It's a gravity fed system
3 Port valve is stuck in mid position mate.
Will this cause problems if it isn't fixed? Is it something i could do myself?

Sorry to keep on. But could this cause problems with heating the house? Will i still get fully function from both hot water and heating?
Is this on the boiler itself or by the hot water tank?
It's a honeywell 3 port. What position should it be in to correct this?

the valve will spring back when no demand is called for heating if its working ok
the lever on the end will be hard to move, when you select heating it will become easy to move as the valve will motor open and so the lever will be loose.
