boilers

Oh DP. You are without doubt the Guru of all that is common sense. How I long to spend an evening with you drinking real ale, in our Aran cardigans, listening to your endless tales of how you would sort the world out if only you were globle presisdent! Yes it is my boiler, so with regards to your comments "would I be able to sleep at night if it blew up or gassed someone" well, yes I would as that person would be me and I'd be dead! But behold as the boiler fail for the second time I found a small piece of plastic which led to a square shaped object mounted on the wall with a switch incorporated into it, fortunately, I had the presents of mind to flick the afore mentioned switch. Which miraculusly shut down the mistical wizardry that people call elastic-trickery or something like that. After all you know me DP, my knowledge of such things means squat in comparision to your genial greatness. But that's not all. Behold also coming from the small white box of wonder that provides heat for my family was a thin tubular type object which after some serious investigation I followed back and came to a lever styled object with the letters G.A.S written apon it. It was a pure stab in the dark DP but through pure curiousity I decided to turn it and lowe and behold I woke up alive!!
I now have a boiler engineer coming round to sort out the problem for me. I appriciate your response DP now go and have that pint of "Old fartlys faintly perculiar" or what ever it is you drink whilst discussing your next model air craft project!!
And while you're about it sort your football team out, as bad as England where atleast we were there!

Good to see you have seen the light and taken appropriate action.

Don't worry if you're not Gas registered.

You don't need to be for changing a PCB

bad advice imo as it depends on the appliance/PCB
some pcbs can be swapped out (usually ignition modules )
but others definitely need to be set up

Matt
