Bolier isn't switching on?

The pilot light is not coming on.


How can I get it going again? Once a plumb came and I paid £50 and all he did was bang it a few times in a certain spot and it lighted up?

Thats called a 'technical adjustment', and was probably well worth £50 of his knowledge, experience and confidence in his abilities.

As a "Registered Gas Installer', with the moral&legal responsibilities that it brings, the only advice I can give is to get it seen to by another RGI, find one here if your neighbours/family cannot recommend one to you
