Bolting/Joining RSJ Flush

Can anyone show a sketch or ecplain the best way to bolt two rsj's together perpendicular like this so they are flush height?

Ah I get you...thanks!

Is there any way to do this without welding plates on, drilling bolting maybe, or is a weld needed to get the flush finish the only option..

For shallower beams (6" - 7" deep top-to-bottom) that is the only practicable way of getting them flush.
For an 8"+ deep beam, you can use two pieces of angle bolted to each side of the incoming web, and then to the main beam. But this means more cutting and drilling.
