Bonding

Many thanks PrenticeBoyOfDerry
I have checked and the entry pipes are as you suggested.
I will check the continuity tomorrow
If all is well on the test would I need to carry out any further checks or could i be satisfied that everything was ok?

To check that disconnection times are compliant, you would need to do a little more testing, this would require specialised knowledge into testing, and the understanding of the results factored in against the protective device of the circuit/circuits. You would also need specialized calibrated test equipment.
The Zs tables for disconnection times can be found here.
http://espm.co.uk/Max Zs tables 17th Ed.pdf
You would also need to prove that the RCD is functioning correctly again an understanding of acceptable results via a calibrated meter.

Hi

Many thanks for clearing that up for me now As least I know I will have to get the experts in to do the necessary.
Thanks again for all your help
