bookmark/save posts

Hello terence7556,
right will explain best I can.
You go in to the thread you wish to bookmark and in the top left hand corner of the first post, just below 'new topic' and 'post reply' should be a white cross on orange background with Bookmark next to it, click on to that.
Then a drop down menu will appear 'Bookmark and Share'
Chose the 'DIY DIYnot' logo, it will then open the diynot window for bookmarks and should now be saved.
Was that helpful?

It says 'bookmark this topic', no red x on mine. (the red x is computer related, I think)

I don't have that option.

This what have. When you hover over this icon a list will drop down, on the list is the DIYnot logo, click on to that and you have the topic saved as a bookmark.

i knew when this was explained to me i would feel like a thicko, how easy was that, cheers prenticeboy of derry from terry of tyrone

No problem terry of tyrone and don't think your a thicko.
I found out through trial and error, as I don't think, the admin on this site have provided anywhere how this is done

I think it would be more helpful if you/we could go to the help section on the site, for instruction on how to use this feature.
Would be a logical place for it, rather than making a feature available and not having a proper information point.
