Hi there,

I have a dado border tile on the bathroom which bulges out from the wall.

I'm thinking of fixing a glass shower screen against the wall where meets the bath but not sure how to fix back the framework of the screen as the bulge in the tile is a problem..any ideas? Thanks

got a dremell type jobbie?if so mark where the frame comes and gentle remove that part of boarder so frame can sit flush with wall,or pack out until flush with boarder then fix frame.

thanks for info mate.

Haven't got a Dremmel but packing out is a good idea.Got to find a suitable material to do so though as water is the problem

Dremel , Lidel were doing a cheap one Thursday.
If you do space it off the wall, just go round the diy store, you will see things you can use a spacers, where the screws / fixings are. You can seal off against the wall with silicone.
Either method is do able for a diyer.

I very carefully cut two verticle slots in the border tile in my bathroom with an angle grinder with a diamond blade in it, and chipped away the remaining border to allow my shower screen to fit in place.
