My 6304 is not heating. I've installed a new heating element but this makes no difference - any suggestions?

No-heat issues can be caused by a tripped thermostats, faulty pcb, broken wiring, bad NTC, or a defective element. If you changed the element then its one of the others. Post the "E-number" on the door sticker so we can track down the machine.

I suspect that last number means manufactured in week 49 Year 2000 so maybe I should just be grateful its lasted 11 years !!!!

Wow...a new pcb for this machine costs over £200. Must be like cognac, it gets better (and more expensive) the older it gets. Speak to these people http://www.emwelec.co.uk/ Or scrap it & buy a new one...after all its done its job well. Maybe time to put the "old-dog" down.
