Hi there,

Looking for a bit of info about how the Bosch Warranty works. I got a new Bosch Worcester boiler installed in October least year (7 year warranty)

The plumber i bought the boiler from and got to install it has been saying he is too busy to do a boiler service since early October and has been avoiding my calls.

It's now January and i'm concerned that the date for the annual service to maintain the warranty is well past.

What i am wondering is
  1. Can the boiler service date be backdated if i use another boiler engineer?
  2. What is the general rule around keeping the warranty valid?
Cheers!

I'm sure you'll not find a problem getting an eng. to backdate the service.
1st service will just be a combustion/trap/safety check.
On a combi or system boiler the system pressure MUST be dropped and the vessel pressure topped up.
