Bosch Classixx 1200 washing machine

Hi,

We have a Bosch classixx 1200 that at the end of the selected program will not release the door, end light flashing. I have noticed it also drains very slowly.

When you turn the machine off for 2 mins it will let you select the drain cycle, again the end light flashes, turn off for 2 mins the select spin and the door will finally open... only for the load to need re-spinning again as still full of water.

We have checked the filter and the drain hose, any more ideas......

Sounds like a weak pump if it is draining slowly and there are no blockages.
Only a few quid on Ebay for a replacement ASKOll and easy to change
With the filter removed you can use your finger to flick the impellor -if it wobbles-change it,if it rotates freely -change it.
If it moves and then flicks 90 degrees then it is probably ok and you may have a blockage the other side of the pump....
You can also put the machine on drain and watch the pump turning.
It should be a blur.....and no hesitations.
