you have 1 of 3 possibilities
could be something elese but is highly unlikely

1) faulty heating element
2) faulty thermostat
3) faulty PCB

PCB is likely to show burnt tracks if faulty

element can be tested with a meter tester , and can be accessed via removal of a side panel

thermostat is on the element housing looks like this

element is at the bottom of the picture , stat goes in the hole in the middle an looks like this

undo the t20 screws down the sides and top of the inside of the door
lower front panel will fall out , catch it or you might scratch it !!

the facia panel then needs to be gently eased out a little ( many wires )

pcb now exposed
, will have several multi pin connectors , take a photo of where all the wires go before removing

the plastic box contains the circuit board. have a look in here for any tiny black smokey bits which may expose evidence of a flash.

Hi yeh looks like the pcb can you buy that bit the number for the dishwasher is SRS43A02GB/08
cheers
