Bosch Dishwasher not draining

My old Bosch dishwasher model number srs45e08gb21 suddenly stopped draining water.

I have tried to access the impellor for the pump to see if its blocked but it seems this model of dishwasher doesn't have the removable cover to access the impellor.

Has anyone else been able to solve this problem? I have seen other posts about these models but they were not clear on how they resolved their issue.

Take pump out and test.
Pumps do fail and might be cheap enough to replace
 
I had similar problem last year, though not a bosch.
Engineer traced the fault to a broken wire in the wire harness which flexes every time the door is opened and closed. He told me it's a very common problem.
