Bosch Dishwasher SGS43A22GB stops after filling up?

Hi folks

I hope you can help. I have a Bosch Dishwasher SGS43A22GB which fills up with water and then stops on all the settings. I can open the door and water is in the bottom (you can hear it going round at first) and if I hold the start/stop button in for three seconds the pump activates and empties the water out again. Any ideas about how I can get it to do the dishwashing bit?
