Hi, I have bosch classixx SGS45C02GB dishwasher which won't end cycle and wont heat up. Engineer has inspected and told me the reed switch needs replacing at a cost of £80. (no call out fee) I have taken machine to the shop. I tried to get another quote as this seenms OTT to me, but other shops say no reed switch on this model? Is it called something else. how much should it cost to get it replaced?Thanks

A reed switch is what checks the salt level on the salt container it certainly doesn't effect the heating . What effects the heating is the heater or the ntc or heater relay on board
