bosch dishwasher

i have been asked to look at a friends dishwasher which appears to be blocked ,by her description since xmas.her washing machine on the same external wall blocked also but this is now clear.
she claims there is a second filter at the rear of the machine that may be blocked but all i recollect is the inline water filter at the rear.
any thoughts that may help before i turn up please?

what makes her think it is blocked?

there may be a filter in the end of the filling hose where it attaches to the isolation cock

If her washer has/had the same symptoms maybe you should be looking for a plumbing problem rather than a dishwasher issue. Which model is it & exactly what is the problem? "Blocked" doesn't tell anyone much.

i do not know if it is blocked, as i have not visited yet.this is a description from the householder but i suspect you are both correct in pointing towards a plumbing solution rather than an appliance fault
i will report back after my visit

well boys you were right.
there are two deep drawers in front of her sink, full width. she had filled them with so much crap that some had fallen down the back and closed the handle on the washing machine type isolator (not ballofix)
