Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher Problem Help Please!

Hi,

My dishwasher finishes its wash cycle but the timer doesn't count down to O and the pump carries on wanting to pump water out, if you pour water into the machine it pumps water out immediately - the pump doesn't stop going.

Any ideas please

Water on the baseplate & the antiflood device has kicked in. Lean the dishwasher forward to drain off the water (have some towels ready) then try a re-start. If it works you need to track down the source of the leak.

Thanks for answering - we have no water staying in the machine - pump doesn't stop going - we've poured a jug of water into the machine but pumps it out straightaway and pump carries on just pumping. The timer countdown just sticks at around 18 or 19.

I think he means water has leaked out of the machine into the flood tray underneath. You may need to tip the machine over to see.

Just tipped machine on its side and drained off the water just put a wash through and it seems to be working now - fingers crossed

still needs fixing. Might be the hose connection on the pump.

Only a matter of time...it will happen again, enjoy while it lasts. When it does go awol you need to remove both side panels to pin down the leak. Popular (leaky) places are wash motor seals.
