Bosch Greenstar 28 he system pump failed

Went to look at this boiler and found live to pump but pump not working.
pump spins freely,water is hot above pump,cold everywhere else
pump is a ups15-50 ttao (grundfos). this appears to be a standard 15-50 with a slightly different back casting.
Question: can i ,and has anyone ,replaced just the motor section by undoing the allen bolts?
A 15-50 is obviously cheaper and availability no problem ( unlike bosch model)

I dont know about that particular model but I can say that many boilers with Wilo pumps have a different impeller with slightly different sizes so the standard pump will not fit !!!

By all means try the standard 15-50 but carefully compare the impellers first and tighten it slowly and check the shaft is free as you tighten.
