Machine program has sometimes stuck on 1 min at end of program but now program will not start just makes humming noise. Have cleaned small filter in water supply pipe and machine worked for a couple of programs but now problem has returned.

Hello. I once had that one, but it went away after I cleaned the machine out with caustic soda ( a bit drastic I admit). I think a sensor is stuck somewhere and the machine is still trying to pump out water, even though it's empty. It might be worth looking at the water matrix in the L/H side of the machine to see if anything is gunked up. Good luck, but I'd start saving for a new machine now if I were you. Mine (exactly the same model) just died by inches. I think it was too complicated for its own good, being stuffed with clever-dick features to save water, energy, etc.. I'd love to see the environmental impact of manufacturing a new machine which I had to buy 5 years earlier than I'd have expected!

With Bosch machines not running but making a humming noise I would usually check the base for water (not inside the machine but the base where all the workings are)

the humming could be the drain pump having been activated by the anti flood device.
