Bosch motor click with new Carson brushes

I have fitted new carbon brushes in my washing machine. I thought it had done the trick as the drum now spins!!

Sadly the motor is clicking as if the brushes have been insatalled wrongly. I have checked and they are in correctly and click as the rub on the motor comm.

Anyone any ideas why and how to fix???[/list]

If they are definately the correct brushes, installed properly then they will probably bed in with use. You might want to check they have not been chipped or damaged.

jj4091 is probably correct. If you want to bed the brushes in quicker you can put a piece of emery paper round half the comm between it and a brush, rough side out on the brush and work it back and forth so that the brush is slightly ground away to take the shape of the comm and same again on the other one.
