If you reset the power, what happens?

If you still get a fault code, have you got the polarity correct?

These are the Bosch instructions, taken from the internet. Do these work?

Firstly, check to see if the clock symbol and three zeros
are flashing in the display.
If the clock symbol and three zeros are flashing, set the time.

1. Press the clock button.
12:00 appears and the clock symbol flashes.

2. Set the time using the + or - button.
The time selected is adopted after a few seconds.

The cooker is now ready for use.

If that does not work, I have found this on the internet:

Please, don't replace anything before trying this first! The insulation in the ribbon cable is poor, so the conductors in the cable become crossed. The ribbon cable is actually two ribbons pressed together, and the conductors between the two cables are shorting or becoming crossed. Lift the two cables apart, place a piece of paper between them, fold the edges of the paper over the cable so that it does not slip out, and make sure to shove it all the way down to where it will meet the plastic display panel housing.

It's a wonderful thing, the internet.

Clock is flashing but it keeps on blinking so unable to set time and getting f5 code

I know John!

I got the instructions from the internet, then I got some hints and tips about a possible repair from the internet.

I was wondering vaguely whether the OP could contact the manufacturer, perhaps via the internet, to find out about a new ribbon cable.

Tis a DIY site, after all!!!
