I have the same problem, the cover moves about 10-15 degrees but with the silver socket moving as well. Don’t want to damage the oven casing by applying too much force.
It isn’t very dirty but presumably dirty enough.
can I force it or will it damage the oven or should I remove the cover in pieces?
