Replacing oven interior light - NEFF B1422

Hi, I need to replace the bulb in our NEFF B1422 oven. Unfortunately I cannot seem to be able to unscrew the bulb cover as it's stuck fast. It's also in the top corner of the oven, behind the grill element, so access isn't too easy.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to loosen it? Instruction manual says to unscrew, and shows it being done by fingertip (yeah right!).

Would it be safe/advisable to try WD40?
