Inlet valve shuts on/off noisily several times during start of cycle. After filling, rest of programme runs fine.
Checked filters on inlet tap connector and on machine - clear. Dismantled inlet valve and inspected solenoid etc - OK. Removed and cleaned the ribbed pipe going to the sump. Cleaned a bit of gunk from the red valve at the top of the waste tubes on that tank thingy. On the other side of the machine, the ribbed tube rising up into a loop is clear.
Must be the level sensors, but how does the water management system work? There are 6 tubes with loops, bends, a red valve venting to the air and another open port.
How is the water level detected? Is it a float, a timer or an air switch or a combination? The red float and the air sensor tube with its blue operating rod don’t seem to be doing much, even though water can be seen flowing through them.
Any ideas?
