Bosch Tumble Dryer Faulty

Google says it's a fault in the heating circuit, possibly the thermostat.

Thanks.

Im in two minds whether to get it repaired or just scrap it and buy a new one.

Its a few years old and gets used lots every day. A repair will surely be £100+, yet I can buy a cheap brand new Beko DTGC7000W unit for £200.

Seems a shame to scrap an item that can be repaired, but the economics just don't seem to work out.

If that the case then I'll have a go at repairing it.

Can anyone point me to how they know its a thermostat problem please? I can't find anything on Google. Wouldn't a failed thermostat mean the dryer would still work, but wouldn't heat up? My dryer won't work at all.

Often two stats the second being a failsafe which will blow and can stop any action.
