Bosch WFD 2473 Draining problems

I have a Bosch Washing machine that is playing up with strange problems.It gets stuck mid cycle and will not drain or spin on the 2nd cycle.The machine will work perfectly if water only is used on a wash cycle.When garments are placed in the machine it will hang mid cycle although it will rinse and spin once.I have removed the drain motor and applied 240 v and it runs,Brushes have loads left and all hoses seem clear.Any suggestions or similar problems would be a help

These appliances are prone to pump problems but i would check that the hoses are clear first and not got a 5pence trapped and acting as a valve.
