We have a Bosch iron, only had it about a year, the light comes out but the plate does not heat up. Does anyone know why this is likely to be and would I be able to fix it myself? There appears to be one screw in the appliance with a sort of strange heaxagonal shaped head that makes it obviously not advisable to undo. Yesterday it was working ok and we did have the mains fuse tripped which could have been caused by the iron, since then it has not heated up. I have tried replacing the fuse.
