Hi there,

My dishwasher (SGS43E02/GB) is acting a little strange. Most of the time, when I switch on, it goes though without any issues, however sometimes it stalls and the program light flashes with a clicking sound. I have looked at the display and the sound is coming from around the button area which is in front of the control module.

At some points, it stalls before the tablet is released, other times afterwards. When it stalls, I turn on/off, open and close the door and then it'll restart from where it left off.

I am able to replace components but really don't want to spend £120 on a control module to find it's something else. Looking through the available spares, it looks like there are many things it could be: door sensor, anti flood device, control module etc.

What do you guys think? Should I dump it and buy something new or is there a way to repair it? I've only had it about 4 years and really hoped it would last a bit longer. It's used daily.

Thanks.
