I do tend to click on the bookmark every time I want to visit and use the same tab for other sites as well.

That's where we differ. My 'DIY not tab' is always there (with me 'logged in') and is never used for anything else - so I virtually never have to 'log in', which I guess means that it virtually never thinks of investigating whether I am human (I don't imagine it knows when I switch between tabs, provided that my DIYnot one remains 'open'/'logged in', does it?)

One site I use does know, as switching tabs automatically logs me out and the security is such that it has to be typed in each time, I believe Zoom has to be typed in too.

With some sites (particularly banking etc. ones) any loss of 'connection' (e.g. due to temporary loss of internet connection) results in one immediately being 'logged out' - which seems very reasonable.

However, in general, that does not happen with a lot of sites (including DIYnot). Even if I have a fairly protracted loss of internet connection whilst I'm logged in, with sites like DIYnot I'm still logged in when the connection is eventually restored.

Yes, exactly my point. Still logged in but forgets I'm human.

I don't think I've experienced that with any forum.
The issue of whether or not I'm human only ever seems to arise when I attempt to 'log in' - so never seems to arise when I am 'permanently logged in' (even if the internet connection is interrupted whilst I'm logged in).

I am also frequently getting this every time I type something -

I have to refresh the page when it will check that I am still human.

What is the browser console?
