Bottom window protruding out

I had a side open window with a broken bottom hinge. The bottom left section on the hinge side was sticking out by about 5mm, the top left was fine. So I thought the broken hinge was the cause of this anomaly. I purchased some hinges from screwfix and installed them but there is still a 5mm gap in the bottom left section and I am not sure what to do.
