box above stairs.. any ideas please ?

Hello. I am new to this and would love some advice
I have a box in the little bedroom which is directly above the stairs.
I have no idea what to do with it
It has to remain there. But what can I use it for ? I was thinking put a TV on it. But I ain't sure.
Any ideas will be more than appreciated

I have painted the room a lilac colour and the box the same colour and fitted new carpet.
So just wondering what to do to utilise the box

a very unusual question really

i have a storage space what can i do with it ??

i assume the question means its an undefined space at the min without a door

suggestions raised bed going into the space assuming you can support the end on the structure as one example

That box is (I assume) the knock out required for the stairs to achieve the correct head height.

It's not uncommon and does unfortunately limit the floor foot print of the room it's in.

If it's the right height you could put a table top over it, fix two legs on the overhang and hey presto a desk.

Or build or buy storage that fits over it.

Or add L shelves above and to the sides.
