at planning stage of new steel framed garage been told box profile sheeting will not be allowed due to not fire proof
garage would be clad for its length ontop of a wall 300mm high above the lean to above the doors and on the roof
it will be built upto 3 boundaries will this meet approval or not
I don't want to use blocks as it is tight to a neighbours house and a boundary wall so to avoid neighbours problems I wanna build a steel frame inside both with a little cladding ontop of a wall to increase height

If steel has been rejected because it is not fire resistant or fire proof then timber cladding will be even less so.

My guess is a masonry structure will be most suitable.
