Brake caliper slider pin grease

Is there any advantage to using the silicon based grease for the pins compared to ceramic brake grease?

That’s something I’ve never really concerned myself with. I just lube the pins with copper slip as it’s normally to hand when I’ve just fitted pads.

I stopped using coppaslip when I realised it was causing pads to stick a while after being fitted. No bother at all with ceramic grease.

Same, I've had my copper grease pot for at least 10 years now and I reckon I will still be using said copper grease pot for at least the next 30 years!
