Brake Light Failure

The MOT is due soon, does anyone know if it will fail without the high level light working or will the two brake lights at either side be sufficient for it to pass the MOT?

Technically, if it's fitted it needs to be working. So your options are fix it, or remove it !

I thought as much - thought i'd read that some lights aren't needed but if they are there, then they should be working. In that case, does anyone know how to get into the bulb in the high level brake light on the new shape Fiesta? I've removed the two rubber 'gromits' on the inside of the boot hatch but can't work out how to remove what look like clips inside there??

Hi Andrew I can't comment on the Fiesta particularly but there will be quite a simple way in somehow...usually a thin screwdriver through the grommet holes will release the plastic clips but there may only be one on one side...carefully does it! Cheers John
