Hi

I have an expansion vessel fitted in the CH system which has been plumbed in using approx. 1m length of copper pipe.

There is no air vent fitted at the entry to the expansion vessel.

As it is not possible to vent the pipework running to the expansion vessel does this ever fill up with water or does the trapped air become an extension of the expansion vessel ?

Hi Kev

Is it possible for the air to dissolve into the heated water over time in the same way that the Megaflo tank looses its air bubble ?
