brass lacquer ????

Looking for a nice clear hard Lacquer.( for Brass).. looked in the local shops and cant find and...

Can anyone point me to a good brand, and maybe a chain that will sell it.

I only need a small amount.

go to your local auto parts store and get a spray can of ignition spray for waterproofing ignition wires on your car ,this is really plastic spray ,.
polish your brass items and carefully coat as you would with a can of spray paint, test on scrap piece if not sure. will keep part shinny and bright for years.
 
forgot to say I used this product on my brass buckles and badges in the army never had to polish for parade.
 
is there anything else? I know of one called STP.... well they used to make it. did not go to hard though what about a proper lacquer.
