I want to clad a timber framed wall underneath a rectangular bay window with pvc shiplap cladding (probably Kestrel). The Kestrel guide says I should waterproof the plywood substrate with a breather membrane. I need a piece approx 3 metres x 1 metre. I’ve looked online and products such as Kingspan Nilvent, Tyvek and Klober seem suitable but they only seem to be sold in large rolls.

Can anyone suggest where I might get a 3m x 1m piece?

Thanks

Stef

The manufacturers used to send you out an ickle sample if you asked them, maybe you could contact all of them and you could sew them together like a patchwork quilt?

I'm using vent3 and it's the main one my local merchant stocks so I'm sure it's fine

That's good to know- I'll get some vent3 off eBay.

Thanks again
