I have been thinking about building a brick BBQ on the patio...nothing fancy - just the standard 'U' shaped design where you slide the pre-bought grill in etc...
What I wanted to do was 'enhance' the base somehow (heat proof base and a lip on the front edge??) so that if the grill was slid out a fire could be lit in the base to heat the patio area when needed..
Does this make sense? Is it a stupid idea
? Any advice if it's a go'er?
