Do all these apps for Smart devices use the same protocols, or should I say do most of the Smart devices use the same protocols for communication that can be controlled by different apps?
I've been looking at installing various Wifi RGB led bulbs from the likes of Mi-Light, Sonoff etc and would like to use one app rather than the one they recommend.
