Bristan Shower Switching Modes

I have a Bristan Bliss electric shower. It doesn't have physical push buttons but rather 'touch' buttons. I can run it no problem and it holds temperature perfectly. However, when taking a shower it can sometimes switch modes and jump to 'cold'. I can instantly switch it back to 'hot' and it heats up again.

I'm assuming that the switch is being triggered but water splashing on it. I've contacted Bristan but no reply. I've tried to limit the amount of water splashing on it but not always possible.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas?
